QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking for a new colleague for our global leader company in the construction chemicals sector, to join our team as "Finance Business Partner”.

Our head Office is located in Maltepe, İstanbul.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or related fields
  • At least 3-5 years of experience about Financial Affairs preferably in a multinational group or an audit company
  • Good command of English in written and verbal communication
  • Good command of MS Office Programs
  • Experience to work with ERP systems & BI tools, preferably Logo Netsis and DAX, 
  • Eager to work in high pace work environment
  • Comfortable with working under pressure and within deadlines
  • Assertive negotiation & interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
  • No military service obligation for male candidates.

Job Description: 

  • Assure that accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the organization’s accounting policies, chart of accounts and related accounting principles and practices, and that subordinate ledgers reconcile with the general ledger and perform accurate and timely month closing
  • Prepare management account files for actual, forecast and budget scenarios in accordance with the organization’s accounting policy & principles, required chart of accounts and ensure trial balance is ready as per Group calendar
  • Assist in budget and forecast activities, prepare required working files. Compile and analyze company budgets and projections. Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets
  • Prepare/control Company’s periodical cash flow forecast / OCF and report to the management to take necessary actions on time
  • Prepare detailed analysis of trading activities and expense analysis of the company. Track and control actual vs budget / forecast variances and take required actions where necessary
  • Monitor company KPIs such as debtors and supplier terms and conditions, inventory days and any other working capital components periodically in structured manner, highlight potential exposure where necessary
  • Prepare and analyze periodical reports like daily/monthly sales, trade debtors, balance sheet by currency, banking, and management reports
  • Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, trend analysis, cost center checks and transaction processing checks
  • Ensure timely implementation of both internal and external audit actions
  • Coordinate business units, bridges b/w Finance needs and internal stakeholders such as Sales and Operation in terms of both operational and business requirement
  • Coordinate and review Finance Memo preparations as per required standards
  • Contribute automation / digitalization of reporting, improve data movement from local ERP to Group reporting platforms, analyze and proactively advise on MIS reports that aid management in taking effective decisions
  • Be able to comprehend accounting issues and respond quickly to the requirements of the finance team
  • Handle other tasks that may be assigned by Management as the need arises.
