Adayların, üniversitelerin ilgili bölümlerinden mezun ve Pedagojik formasyon eğitimini tamamlamış olmaları gerekir.

Öğrencilerin kreatif yönlerini geliştirmek, çocuklarda güven duygusunu artırmak; onların müzik yapmaları için gerekli bilgi, beceri ve tutumlarını geliştirmek, şarkı söyleme ve enstrüman çalma yoluyla başka bireylerle amaçlı ve kendilerini ifade edici bir iş birliği sağlamalarına yardımcı olmak; öğrencilerin bireysel ve kolektif yaratıcılıklarını geliştirmek, onların müziği keşif ve yapmalarını sağlayacak bilgilerini artırmak temel sorumluluklardır.

Öğrencilerin bireysel veya grup halinde performans hazırlamalarına yardımcı olmak ve bu performansları organize etmek; sınıf günleri, dinletiler, yılsonu etkinlikleri, belirli gün ve haftalar ile ilgili müzik programları düzenlemek, okulun uyguladığı CAP (Creativity Activity Programme) programının müzik kulübü ile ilgili kısmını yürütmek, gerekirse okul dışından çeşitli profesyonelleri ayarlayarak farklı müzik kulüplerinin kurulmasını sağlamak beklenen davranışlardır.

We are seeking suitably qualified individuals to join us as full time MUSIC TEACHERS who  believe that music education should be accessible to everyone and who are passionate about teaching music to students of all ages at ISTANBUL (Bahcelievler, Bahcesehir, Beylikduzu, Atasehir), IZMIR(Cigli),BURSA(Ozluce), ANTALYA (Muratpasa) and ANKARA (Alacaatli) campuses for the academic year 2024-2025. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in music theory, performance, and pedagogy. They will be able to teach a variety of instruments, and have a deep understanding of music history and culture. The music teachers will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents and guardians

The expected time to join the team is late August 2024 or early September 2024.

Virtual interviews offered to qualified candidates who are eligible who reside outside the city or country for the position. (The interviews-agreements should be completed by mid-July with the overseas applicants as the official workpermit processes takes about 2 months).

Beside the national curriculum, depending on the campus accreditations, we offer international programmes such us IB PYP, IB DP and Cambridge Pathway (Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower-Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge AS/A Level). Medium of instruction in these programmes is English so fluency in English is a must.Ongoing professional development trainings are provided by the school.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in education or relevant licence/certificate and has excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices and are principled and treat their students with tenderness and compassion.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and teach age- and skill-appropriate music classes to students
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Incorporate technology in the classroom to enhance student engagement and understanding
• Use a variety of assessment data to adjust instruction and improve student learning
• Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by administrative regulations
• Select and requisition books, materials, and supplies, maintaining inventories and using equipment economically
• Cooperate with other members of the school staff in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods
• Serve on committees as required or assigned
• Attend and participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
• Model appropriate professional behavior and ethical conduct at all times
• Comply with all policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
