We are looking for a ''Material Planning Engineer'' for our global company that produces cat litter for to which we provide consultancy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, or engineering in Industrial or Mechanical,
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in material planning, inventory management, preferably in manufacturing,
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management,
• Strong team player with excellent communication, problem solving and coordination skills,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferably Oracle or SAP
• Field applied knowledge of Operational Excellence, TPM, 5S, and LEAN Manufacturing tools and concepts,
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Determining the required materials and generating purchase requisitions,
• Maintaining and leading purchasing process through company ERP system.,
• Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient, Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production, Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.,
• Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends,
• Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products,
• Liaising with suppliers, and distributors,
• Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations,
• Assist in the effectiveness of all maintenance processes including but not limited to, planning and scheduling (including major maintenance shutdowns), preventive maintenance, break-in work and emergencies.,
• Inputs all work orders, purchased parts and service work into Oracle Enterprise Asset Management application,
• Maintain proper contractor documentation (Annual Inspections, Calibration Records and Contractor’s sign off) that provide services to Plant,
• Control and monitor critical equipment/parts inventory,
• Ensure company equipment and material receives proper care custody, maintenance, and usage,
• Communicate with management, maintenance teams, production, warehouse other departments, related to maintenance issues, requests and questions, preparing cost estimates and performance reports,
• Following and implements the principles of 5S, Standard Work, Daily Management and Problem Solving.
