Switchboard Operator

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for Switchboard Operator to be part of the flagship Rixos Tersane İstanbul, It is a newly constructed hotel that will be representative of refined hospitality, Rixos Tersane İstanbul will present 432 bedrooms,

You will be part of a strong pre-opening “Front Office” team who will be showcasing the property,

Responsibilities:

• Switchboard Operator works in a office answering incoming calls and directing them to the correct person or department and take messages when someone is unavailable,
•  They may also make outbound calls to customers or clients to provide information or resolve issues,
• Switchboard Operator need to have strong communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, They may also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of calls and providing customer service and support,
• Answer incoming calls and provide callers with the requested information,
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a polite and professional manner,
• Helping guests use the phone system by providing information about rates and services offered by the company,
• Providing post-call follow-up to ensure that customers have been satisfied with the experience,
• Transfer calls to appropriate personnel or departments,
• Assist customers in placing orders,
• Take messages and forward them to the relevant parties,
• Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions,
• Ensure customers’ satisfaction by providing accurate information in a timely manner,
• Follow communication procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

• University degree,
• At least 2 years of experience in the position of Switchboard Operator,
• Team Oriented,
• Fluent in English,
• Strong internal and external communication skills, both verbal and written,
• Organizational skills.
