Job Description – Senior Accountant

·         Performing and reviewing daily accounting transactions of clients,

·         Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual account closings to ensure all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported on time,

·         Performing intercompany reconciliation and ensure compliance with group GAAP requirements,

·         Maintaining reconciliations with related and third parties,

·         Preparing Tax Returns And Other Compliance Requirements,

·         Preparing payrolls for clients’ employees,

·         Coordination and communication with shared service centers and clients’ tax teams resident abroad,

·         Coordination and communication with clients’ tax offices,

·         Following legislative changes and implementing when applicable,

·         Managing the dedicated team

·         Supporting in global finance tasks (e.g. budgeting, global cashflow reporting) and in consolidation of the group financials.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience required for this role:

·         University degree in  Business Administration, Economics  (English curriculum is a plus).

·         Solid accounting and financial reporting experience required: minimum 3 years direct exposure to Turkish GAAP (Experience in an outsourcing firm is an asset)

·         Good knowledge of Turkish Tax and Accounting requirements

·         SMMM qualification or equivalent is an asset

·         Financial reporting experience is an asset

·         Other country GAAP knowledge and experience in tax matters is a plus.

·         Excellent knowledge of English.

·         Good MS Office Applications and Accounting software required.

·         Payroll knowledge is an asset

·         In hybrid system; Able to comply with working from home and office.
