Our client is a prominent Engineering and Consulting Company focused on mining industry and operating in precious metal and base metal mining in Turkey. Now we are looking for aMechanical Engineerwho will work at Ankara but frequently travel to project sites.

The Profile

· Graduated from a prominent university’s Mechanical Engineering faculty.

· Fluent English is required. The position requires to communicate with Expatriate Project Managers

· We are looking for a mobile person who may work at the mining sites during the projects.

· Two years of experience will be enough for the position, but we are looking for a person who is eager to learn, smart and high energy

· Has analytical thinking, result-oriented, compatible with teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

· Experienced in ore beneficiation plant and equipment design will be a strong asset.

· Preferably experienced in piping design

· Able to evaluate calculation reports prepared by subcontractors

· Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Plant3D, Autodesk Inventor,

· No travel restrictions and able to work at the site when necessary.

Project Design:

Assist in design and evaluation of new or existing equipment,

Assist in design of new plants,

Reviewing technical specifications to meet project requirements,

Preparation of bill of materials for projects,

Reviewing of drawings, and specifications, to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.

Identifying any design discrepancies or potential issues and providing recommendations for improvements.

Project Planning:

Collaborating with the project team to develop mechanical construction plans and schedules.

Determining the necessary manpower, equipment, and materials required for successful project execution.

Participating in project meetings and providing input on mechanical engineering matters.

Installation Supervision:

Following the manufacturing process and reporting the process to superiors

Overseeing the installation and assembly of mechanical systems,

Quality Control and Inspections:

Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality and compliance of mechanical installations with project requirements and industry standards.

Performing tests and measurements to ensure the proper functioning of mechanical systems. Documenting and reporting any deviations or non-compliance issues and working with the project team to address them.

 Coordination with Subcontractors:

 Collaborating with subcontractors and suppliers involved in mechanical works to ensure efficient coordination and integration of activities.

Providing technical guidance and clarifications to subcontractors as needed. Resolving conflicts or discrepancies that may arise between different subcontractors.

  Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

 Identifying and resolving mechanical-related issues and challenges on-site. Investigating and diagnosing problems, proposing effective solutions, and coordinating with the project team and subcontractors to implement corrective actions promptly. Ensuring minimal impact on project progress and quality.
