Job Description

• Secure the quality of materials and products according to given specifications and standards
• Maintain relevant site certification (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001)
• Implement the required equipment in QC lab. to increase efficiency and support complex COE SCM standards
• Develop and improve quality processes and standards; control inspection equipment
• Lead the quality activities in COE production facilities; implement internal Management System audits within BUs and support the continuous improvement process
• Generate reports and statistical evaluations and advise upper management on results from Integrated Management Systems as well as on the necessity for continuous improvement
• Maintain, carefully operate and ensure availability of the entrusted equipment and utilities in the designated area of responsibility
• Increase efficiency and capacity of the entrusted equipment and utilities and improve the operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with legal and other regulations in the operation of facilities, buildings and equipment in the immediate area of responsibility as well as the job safety of the employed staff
• Ensure compliance with HSE rules and quality standards as well as chemical industry standards within the area of responsibility
• Lead, motivate and develop assigned staff to improve performance, continuously develop professional expertise and create synergy within the team
• Initiate investment projects and successfully implement them independently
• Support executives by identifying measures to meet company objectives regarding quality and environment sector
• Support BUs and site service regarding know-how of the area of expertise; support during external certification and customer audits
