QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a distinguished boutique law firm based in Istanbul, serving high-profile multinational clients since the early 2000s. They are committed to excellence in the resolution of high-value and complex business disputes often with cross-border nature via litigation, arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. They also capable of providing legal advice on certain non-contentious matters such as corporate/commercial, media & entertainment, and employment law which arise during the ordinary course of their clients` investments, projects and day-to-day business operations.

Their dynamic team includes skilled lawyers, the founding attorney, a director managing administrative and financial matters, and a paralegal. The firm is flexible and ready to expand its team based on business needs and workload demands. Operating on a hybrid work model, the team enjoys remote work on Mondays and Fridays. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
  • Preferably experienced in the service sector (e.g., law firms, Big 4 auditing firms) 

Job Description


Accounting:

Accounting: Collaborate with our external accountant to manage preliminary accounting tasks, expense tracking, invoicing, payments, and collections, and oversee proposal processes, budgeting, profitability analyses, and tax payments 

Purchasing:

Handle procurement of office supplies, including kitchen/cleaning materials, stationery, books/publications, subscriptions, software/hardware, and printing services

IT Support:

Coordinate with our external IT consultant to identify, monitor, and resolve technical issues and needs within the office 

Human Resources:

Maintain personnel files, track leave, manage recruitment processes, and oversee on-boarding (providing devices, email accounts, elevator cards, meal cards, office procedure and software usage orientation) and off-boarding processes

Other Administrative Duties:

Support operational tasks related to Marketing/Business Development, handle phone calls and welcome guests, manage reservations and other administrative tasks as needed
