MRC Türkiye is a Turkish engineering and consultancy company based in Ankara. Since 2009, MRC Türkiye has been providing engineering and consulting services for the power sector.

We as MRC Türkiye provide engineering and advisory services within all aspects of Energy and Utility business (Distribution, Transmission, Generation and Energy Markets) and over the entire life cycle (from strategic planning to implementation stage) projects.

MRC Türkiye is a member of MRC Group which consists of ten sister companies throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific, that share a common history and operate internationally as a single organization, combining their human resources, technical skills and geographical presence to better serve clients worldwide.

MRC Türkiye through has a long and successful record in the Turkish and neighbour markets, for a variety of private and institutional clients, serving large industrial clients, energy sector agents and private investors.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Management Consultant at MRC Turkiye, you will address strategic issues pivotal to the future of the energy sector. Your role will encompass developing corporate strategies, advancing growth initiatives, advising on organizational restructuring, and enhancing operational efficiencies. You will also conduct due diligence for energy companies and assets primarily for International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and partake in strategic and business planning for energy firms. This crucial position supports our clients in overcoming their challenges and capitalizing on opportunities, delivering significant impacts on their performance and strategic standing through a mix of analytical rigor and strategic focus.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior consultants to tackle complex challenges in the energy and utilities sector.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and proposals for clients.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops, providing analytical support.
• Research market trends, policies, and regulations.
• Support strategic planning and organizational redesign to align with clients’ long-term goals.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis for strategic recommendations.
• Identify industry trends and opportunities through market research and benchmarking.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Electrical-Electronics Engineering or related fields.
• Interest in Energy Markets, such as energy distribution, renewables, retail, etc.
• Experience in consulting or project-based work preferred.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio), with a preference for basic programming knowledge (macro, scripts, etc.).
• A dynamic, motivated, and eager-to-learn attitude.
