MRC Türkiye is a Turkish engineering and consultancy company based in Ankara. Since 2009, MRC Türkiye has been providing engineering and consulting services for the power sector.

We as MRC Türkiye provide engineering and advisory services within all aspects of Energy and Utility business (Distribution, Transmission, Generation and Energy Markets) and over the entire life cycle (from strategic planning to implementation stage) projects.

MRC Türkiye is a member of MRC Group which consists of ten sister companies throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific, that share a common history and operate internationally as a single organization, combining their human resources, technical skills and geographical presence to better serve clients worldwide.

MRC Türkiye through has a long and successful record in the Turkish and neighbour markets, for a variety of private and institutional clients, serving large industrial clients, energy sector agents and private investors.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Management Consultant at MRC Türkiye, your role is pivotal in steering the trajectory of the energy sector. You will orchestrate strategic initiatives, develop corporate strategies, and cultivate client relationships to drive growth and improve operational efficiencies. In this senior capacity, you will conduct high-stakes due diligence for leading energy companies and assets, mainly serving International Financial Institutions (IFIs), and lead strategic and business planning for premier energy firms. This essential role empowers our clients to manage complex challenges and exploit opportunities, profoundly impacting their strategic orientation and operational outcomes through analytical depth and strategic leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

• Tackle complex challenges in the energy and utilities sector.
• Formulation and execution of transformative strategies across various facets of the energy sector, including renewables, distribution, and retail energy markets. Drive the integration of sustainable and innovative energy solutions into client operations.
• Contribute project management processes from conception through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, budget constraints, and timelines.
• Navigate the evolving regulatory landscape to advise clients on compliance and leverage policy changes for strategic advantage.
• Conduct comprehensive economic analysis to support investment decisions and policy recommendations.
• Advise on operational improvements and efficiency enhancements within client organizations. Based on best practices to boost operational performance.
• Craft and deliver detailed reports, strategic presentations, and proposals to senior client executives.
• Lead client meetings and strategic workshops, providing expert analytical and strategic guidance.
• Manage comprehensive research and formulate strategic recommendations with tangible impacts.
• Identify and analyze market opportunities and trends through benchmarking and market research.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5 years of experience, preferably with 3 years in consultancy.
• Potential leadership abilities in consulting or project-oriented environments.
• Expert skills in reporting, analytical thinking, and strategic decision-making.
• High-level proficiency in English.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio), and preferably practical knowledge in programming (macros, scripts, etc.).
• A dynamic, driven team member with a robust track record in initiating solutions and resolving complex problems.
