We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Tech Team. You will be helping us scale our core infrastructure, identifying and implementing best in class tools and technologies that will increase system performance, as well as developer efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years in a full stack engineering or Devops role

• Experience Designing and deploying CI/CD infrastructure.

• Experience with Firewalls, DNS, Load Balancers and Web Servers (particularly Nginx and HAProxy)

• Experience with MySQL

• Experience with Linux

• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ...)

• You are proficient in at least one programming language

• Experience in building and monitoring highly available solutions

• Have great spoken and written communication skills in English

Nice to Have

Database optimisation techniques like Clustering

Problem debugging and database performance optimization

Experience with Python on the backend

Experience using and managing teams with Atlassian developer suite of tools (Jira, Bitbucket etc) 

What will you do

You will be working on a Django web application that manages Web Scrapers together with a team of Product Managers, Developers and Support staff. Responsibility will include

• Optimize the scraping capability to ensure the data is scrapped efficiently with minimum usage of server bandwidth and resources

• Routing monitoring and optimizing of entire Django application

• Researching and implementing new technologies or ideas to improve infrastructure of the product and related services.

• Setting up environments, automating the verification and distribution of applications to environments;

• Making decisions on infrastructure procurement

• Build CI/CD pipelines for provisioning and deployment of features

• Integrate monitoring tools to ensure reliability in a high uptime environment

• Load balancing for Django web app
