JOB DESCRIPTION

• In order to determine and monitor the implementation of occupational health and safety measures to be taken in workplaces, to prevent occupational accidents and occupational diseases, to carry out first aid and emergency treatment of workers and preventive health and safety services; to establish an OHSU, to appoint one or more workplace physicians and other health personnel when necessary in this unit, and to appoint one or more occupational safety specialists in accordance with the hazard class in workplaces where industrial works are carried out,
• Providing the necessary facilities for the personnel assigned for Occupational Health and Safety services to work effectively and making planning and arrangements in this regard,
• Providing sufficient working time for occupational physicians and occupational safety specialists to fulfill their duties, provided that it is not less than the periods determined by the Ministry,
• Ensuring that the entire Occupational Health and Safety team he/she is responsible for performs the work in their job descriptions completely, creating a team spirit and motivating them,
• Organizing the weekly and annual leaves, working hours and conditions of the Occupational Health and Safety team,
• Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the Occupational Health and Safety team's knowledge, competency levels and performance, and informing the Human Resources Department
• Calculation and control of material lists and costs for the needs of the Occupational Health and Safety Department, and making and approving purchasing decisions,
• Ensuring and controlling equipment safety,

General Qualifications:

• Graduated from Civil Engineering departments of universities,
• Minimum 10 years of experience in housing and superstructure projects in similar positions in the construction sector,
• Good command of English,
• Microsoft Office Programs can use at an advanced level,
• Analytical thinking and high work discipline,
• Experienced in team management,
• High planning and coordination skills,
• Effective in teamwork and successful in human relations,
