GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

An Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for promoting sales of the full MR product spectrum in his / her designated countries / regions, paying particular attention to strategic guidelines and business sustainability.

Strategic tasks:

Realization of MR's sales strategy in the designated countries / regions.

Acquisition of new customers and generation of new business with existing customers.

Improving customer acceptance of and preference for MR products in regard to technical specifications.

Identification and development of market opportunities.

Conception and implementation of measures for expanding and securing business.

Analysis of regional developments and development of future scenarios.

Close cooperation with product managers and initiation of product innovations.

Development of long-term sales measures and conclusion of delivery agreements in close cooperation with the Regional Sales Director (responsibility for price up to reporting level) (exception: Global Account)

Operative tasks:

Conduct of regular customer visits in order to build strong customer relationships.

Advising customers, where necessary by including experts (OPP, OPS, Messko, A&C, EVA).

Securing offer preparation (commercial and technical accuracy) and pursuing the offer.

Operative control of sales representatives in the designated region.

Compilation, consolidation and pursuit of customer projects including entries in project database (CRM).

Presenting product information and carrying out customer trainings, where necessary including experts (CST, CSO, Application Engineering, EVA).

Conduct of sales negotiations.

Conduct of market research for purposes of developing sales and marketing strategies.

Prompt forwarding to the marketing department of information regarding competitor products, market activities and prices.

Carrying out planning processes (incl. visit planning) in designated countries / regions (for Global Accounts with approval of the responsible GAM). 

Administrative tasks:

Analysis of outstanding payments and implementation of appropriate procedures (with approval of the responsible RSD if applicable).

Monitoring of complaint management in the designated countries / regions.

Ensuring the payment flow of representatives' commissions.

Responsibility for customer master data in the region.

Compilation of periodic reports (e.g. forecasts, visit reports, market and customer information).

Special tasks:

Responsibility for special technical projects (e.g. phase shifter, HVDC) for customers.

Assisting with and / or managing internal and intra-divisional projects.

Education:

Degree in electrical engineering with additional business administration knowledge.

Experience and Skills:

5 years experience in the industry.

3 years order processing experience.

Business-fluent English

Additional language skills desirable

Sales-oriented, entrepreneurial outlook

Creativity and skill in negotiation situations

Personal responsibility and management skills

Willingness to travel and flexibility

A confident manner with the customer 

Knowledge of relevant cultures
