We are looking for a Purchasing Engineer with the following qualifications who will be employed under the Purchasing directorate of our company at factory in Düzce.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years experience of technical purchasing in a automotive sector (OEM experience will be asset),
• English (Excellent command of written and spoken English),
• Excellent command of Excel, other MS Office applications will be asset,
• Analytical mindset with strong “questioning” abilities, and a good friendship with numbers,
• Always in a mood to find a better way
• Having no restrictions for travelling,
• Living in Düzce or who may live in Düzce.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Coordinating purchasing activities and requirements between Teknorot and Suppliers
• Reporting and following status and action plans of the new and running projects
  
• Leading related purchasing activities to support the launch of new projects within quality expectations
  
• Having an analytical approach and take active role for cost and timing issues
  
• Working with agile principles in an "end to end" approach
  
• Leading new supplier searching activities
  
• Make regular visits to current and new potential suppliers to create a sustainable supplier base portfolio
  
• Must be an engineer who has the courage to expand his/her comfort zone
  
• Leading sourcing strategy development for the commodity groups under responsibility
