QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial or Management Engineering),
• Master’s Degree is a plus (preferably Business Administration and Supply Chain Management),
• Strong written communication and presentation skills in English is must (second language especially German will be an asset),
• Min. 2 years Direct Strategic Purchasing experience is must (experience in Electronic Sector will be an asset)
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP Programmes (SAP will be an advantage),
• Demonstrate a strong comradery with team members,
• Ability to close out open issues in a timely fashion,
• Supplier relationship management,
• Ability to collaborate with leaders across many functions and regions,
• Able to coordinate issue in the supply chain and understand the interactions of purchasing with other internal stakeholders such as planning, operational procurement, logistic, accounting and finance, quality departments and engineering teams,
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales and Program Management,
• Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason,
• Business savvy, techno-commercial thinking, proven negotiation skills and problem solving skills – specifically high level topics,
• Proactive and self-motivated team member,
• No travel restriction.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Preparing short, mid and long term purchasing strategy by evaluating current and potential suppliers with their cost, productivity, supply, quality, market position assets.
• Leading the potential cost studies with up to date RFQ and evaluate related business opportunities
• Identifying, proposing, developing, executing, and managing the cost reduction projects and improvement plan to meet overall targets in support of best cost, financial performance, and technical capabilities,
• Market analysis for global and local market and for related category to track key trends,
• Reviving Suppliers’ market positioning and product roadmap trends to declare supplier selection strategy for each sub category to internal stakeholders,
• Leading the periodical sourcing activities and price & contract negotiations with suppliers in related category,
• Leading of finalizing Supplier Agreement including all annexes of Quality, Indemnity, and Procurement/Logistic with related departments for each supplier and updating necessary change for each projects.
Eligible candidates will be invited to following processes: Tests (General Aptitude, English, Personality Inventory) and interviews (HR interview, technical interviews with line managers and Top Management evaluations).
