QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material/Metallurgical Engineering,
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Automotive Sector as a Quality Engineer,
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and VDA 6.3 auditing experience,
• Understanding of IATF 16949 and other industry standards associated with quality program,
• Master’s Degree is a plus,
• Excellent command of written and verbal English,
• Knowledge of German is preferred,
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization,
• Interpersonal and technical skills to lead suppliers toward achievement of perfect quality product,
• Experience in working with the understanding of: PPAP, MSA, APQP, FMEA, SPC,
• Technical knowledge of inspection, test and measurement techniques,
• Able to read blueprints and/or drawing standards,
• Knowledge and experience in problem solving techniques,
• Preferably IATF Internal and VDA 6.3 Auditor certificate,
• Critical observation skills, analytical skills, decision-making and management skills in critical conditions,
• Customer focused and good communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Follow up supplier performances and report to management periodically,
• Managing quality investigations for non-conformity issues and follow up 8-D studies,
• Creating control plans for materials and components,
• Reviewing and approving supplier PPAP submissions,
• Managing incoming quality control activities,
• Creating test methods for compliance with quality standards of supplied materials and semi-finished products.
