JOB DESCRIPTION
· Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, must contact Restaurant Manager/Asst. Restaurant Manager
· Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively in the working area
· Attend regular meeting and briefing to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments
· Take order from any food & beverage menus
· Ensure all mise en place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service
· Follow the leadership of the captain or supervisor on shift
· Have a good knowledge of all menu and F&B day to day activities
· Recommend and promote items as directed by the Asst. Restaurant Manager
· Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills
· Provides Management with creative ideas
· Report maintenances faults
· Make every effort to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of guest’s requests throughout service
· Ensure that you’re working area is of exemplary clean nature
· Ensure guest / room charges at points of sales are correct
· Ensure that you are aware and informed of all products the resort use for restaurant service
· Have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort
· Fully understand the team goals and objectives, ensuring that the maximum is done to achieve the targets
· Be present throughout service
· Have knowledge of guests’ likes and dislikes throughout their stay
· Always strive to perform any additional and responsibilities given
· Complete any other duty assigned by management
· Arrive on time in full uniform in accordance with the company grooming guideline
QUALIFICATIONS
· Knowledge of restaurant and bar procedures, set up and service
· Very good command over written and spoken English
· An offering of local language and their customs is highly encouraged
· Excellent communicator with the ability to multitask
· Have prior experience within a similar luxury hotel/established restaurant environment.
· Be fun, energetic and have a passion for hospitality.
