We are looking for a “PROJECT MANAGER” for our client operating in the “Railway Systems” industry.

Job Description

• Direct project activities, considering risks and opportunities, to ensure the successful completion of the project in terms of technical, industrial, financial, contractual, and customer satisfaction aspects.
• Coordinate and manage internal stakeholders, including Control Account Managers and Work Package Managers, as well as external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners.
• Ensure the project is completed within the planned timeframe, with a particular focus on meeting operational milestones, in accordance with contractual obligations. Coordinate the project’s deliveries, strategy, and priorities with functional managers.
• Supervise and coordinate internal and external teams, along with their associated work packages.
• Maintain continuous and clear communication with customers, key suppliers, third-party contractors, management, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate all necessary activities, including planning, testing, and the warranty period. Oversee overall project planning, allocate resources effectively, develop and maintain the project timeline, and align key milestones between the customer and internal stakeholders.
• Plan the resources required for different project phases.
• Ensure effective project execution in alignment with financial targets; report project status and financial performance, including costs, risks, and opportunities, to achieve maximum customer satisfaction within the project’s financial parameters.
• Ensure project delivery in compliance with Quality, RAMS, and Safety requirements.
• Manage procurement and logistics processes; assign project tasks to work package managers and monitor them in terms of objectives, deliverables, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company and manage customer relations.
• Analyze and interpret KPIs, define and maintain the metrics dictionary.
• Oversee continuous improvement and lessons learned management.

General Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and MBA is an asset

·         Certification as Project Manager / Senior Project Manager equivalent degree in

PMP/IPMA is an advantage.

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in Rail Electrification / Signalling Or Relevant

·         Project/Site Management experience in a railway environment.

·         Experience of delivery of projects through the full project life cycle.

·         Development and implementation of innovative project execution strategies

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to deliver key messages

efficiently and effectively.

·         Commercial awareness and aptitude – able to contribute to commercial and

contractual issues, drawing upon past experience with railway / engineering

contracts.

·         Leadership skills especially in leading international teams.

·         Very good command of English and Spanish is an asset
