QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION


As the leading technology company operating in the mobile phone manufacturing industry, which has a facility located  inTuzla. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivatedFactory Accountantto join our growing mobile phone factory in Turkey.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master's Degree or professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred,

 

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, with significant experience in a manufacturing environment is essential,

 

Proven experience in developing and managing P&L budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations,

 

Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices in a manufacturing setting,

 

Male candidates must have completed military service,

 

Resides on the Asian side preferably nearby E-5 highway, around Tuzla, Pendik, Maltepe, Kartal, Sultanbeyli, Darıca, Çayırova, Gebze (Location is:Tuzla).

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

This critical role will be responsible for establishing and managing the factory's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting,cost accounting and monthly performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing finance, a deep understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) management, and excellent English communication skills. This role will work closely with the General Manager, factory operations team, and the central accounting team to ensure sound financial control and drive the factory towards profitability and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

 

Lead the development and implementation of the annual factory P&L budget, working collaboratively with department heads to gather input and ensure alignment with operational strategy,

 

Establish and manage the annual budgeting calendar, ensuring timely completion of all budgeting activities,

 

Develop and maintain robust budgeting models and tools to support accurate and efficient budget preparation,

 

Provide guidance and training to department heads on budget preparation and financial management.

 

P&L Forecasting & Analysis:

 

Lead the monthly P&L forecasting process, incorporating current performance, market trends, and operational insights to provide accurate and timely forecasts,

 

Analyze monthly financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and providing insightful commentary and recommendations for improvement,

 

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial performance and operational efficiency,

 

Prepare and present monthly financial reports and performance analysis to the General Manager and department heads.

 

Monthly Closing & Reporting:

 

Work closely with the central accounting team to ensure accurate and timely monthly financial closing for the factory,

 

Review and validate monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies,

 

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the monthly closing process.

 

Monthly P&L Review Meetings:

 

Schedule, organize, and lead monthly P&L review meetings with the General Manager and department heads,

 

Present financial performance reports, lead discussions on variances and key issues, and facilitate the development of action plans to address performance gaps,

 

Follow up on action items from P&L review meetings and track progress.

 

Cost Control & Analysis:

 

Implement and maintain effective cost control measures throughout the factory operations,

 

Conduct cost analysis studies to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement,

 

Work with operational teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.

 

Financial Compliance & Internal Controls:

 

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies,

 

Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and factory operations,

 

Support internal and external audits as required.

 

Ad-hoc Financial Analysis & Projects:

 

Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support business decision-making,

 

Participate in special projects as required by the General Manager or Finance Director.
