Construction Manager

We are currently looking for personnel to work temporarily for the rehabilitation project of thermal power plant, where we are carrying out O&M activities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop a comprehensive project plan that includes detailed timelines, resource requirements, and key milestones.
• Ensure that the project schedule is realistic, resource needs are identified (labor, equipment, materials), and the right resources are available at the right time to avoid delays.
• Oversee and manage the overall construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure they meet the required quality, safety, and timeline standards.
• Develop and enforce a comprehensive safety program, ensuring that workers and subcontractors follow safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents.
• Participate in daily meetings with the client to present progress updates and address concerns.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the client and the construction team
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to resolve on-site issues.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in managing construction sites, preferably in industrial or power plant projects.
• Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale projects.
• Proficient in English
• Expertise in managing time, costs, and resources to meet project deadlines and stay within the budget.
• Strong leadership to guide and motivate the construction team,
• Ability to quickly assess problems and make decisions
• Effective communication to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and the ability to implement them on the job site.
