We are looking for a Help Desk Specialist who will be responsible for supporting, installing, patching security vulnerabilities, and upgrading hardware and software. Will maintain an inventory of laptops, desktops, and phones. Update documentation to record new equipment installed and changes to computer configurations. 

  • Assist new employee onboarding Laptop setup and providing necessary access and peripheral components like docking stations, printers, keyboards, and monitors,
  • Install Software/configure/maintain for users. Active Directory computer / user account creation
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems-related queries via email, remote session, or phone.
  • Install new hardware/software as required
  • Troubleshoots & performs break fix for: Desktop / Laptop / Mobile devices, Printers – standalone and network.
  • Provide “best practice” guidance to end-users, using corporate best practice procedures.
  • Experience supporting Office 365/M365 (MS Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Assist with management of DUO VPN, Microsoft MFA and various corporate services and applications.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred,
  • Fluency in English,
  • Strong knowledge of PC’s, servers, networks, software, hardware, and telecommunications equipment is required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inquiries efficiently
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, Servers, Office 365, and Network Technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
  • Preferred experience with major network product lines like Cisco, VMware, DUO and Microsoft MFA.
  • Understanding or Experience of Virtual Server/Desktop Environments,
