RESPONSIBILITIES
- A solid knowledge of Lean principles (value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, elimination of non-value creating activities, etc.)
- Experience of taking an active role in Lean projects or project management.
- Ability to contribute to continuous improvement (Kaizen) processes.
- Experience in optimizing workflows and minimizing waste.
- Data collection, analysis and reporting competency (ability to analyze data using software such as Excel, SQL, BI tools).
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and use data to optimize processes.
- Risk management and rapid adaptation skills (especially in the face of changing logistics conditions and demands).
- Ability to think creatively and analytically and suggest process improvements.
- Ability to collaborate in a team and work with different stakeholders towards common goals.
- Training and leadership competencies (especially the ability to guide new employees to adapt to Lean processes).
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage time efficiently.
- Project management experience (leading Lean projects or acting as a project manager).
- Ability to motivate team members, monitor their performance and support their development.
- Ability to analyze costs and develop cost reduction strategies in processes with this data.
- Ability to manage budget and monitor return on investments.
- Training and certifications in Lean management or supply chain management (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
