Finance Controller

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Controller to oversee the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and efficient management of the company’s financial resources. This role is critical in driving strategic decision-making and ensuring financial health and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

      1.   Financial Management & Reporting:

        •   Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

        •   Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).

        •   Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts.

        •   Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance with budgets and forecasts.

      2.   Compliance & Risk Management:

        •   Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.

        •   Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.

        •   Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.

      3.   Cost Control & Optimization:

        •   Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

        •   Develop and implement cost-control initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

      4.   Leadership & Collaboration:

        •   Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.

        •   Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial planning and resource allocation alignment.

      5.   System & Process Improvement:

        •   Streamline financial processes and reporting systems.

        •   Ensure accurate and timely financial data integration with ERP systems.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

      1.   Educational Background:

        •   Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).

      2.   Experience:

        •   Proven experience as a Finance Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role (minimum of 3-4 years).

        •   Strong knowledge of financial management systems and reporting tools.

      3.   Technical Skills:

        •   Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Logo).

        •   Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

      4.   Language Skills:

        •   Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

      5.   Other Competencies:
