Çayeli Bakır is an underground mine that produces copper and zinc in Madenli, Çayeli in the Province of Rize on the eastern Black Sea coast. We are seeking a Process Engineer reporting to the Process Superintendent.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist with metallurgical lab experiments, process optimization, and innovation projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency, resolve issues, and ensure timely project completion.
• Perform various operational tasks, including crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering, paste fill, and batch plant operations.
• Analyze production data and troubleshoot process-related issues to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and implement process controls, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Lead and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Conduct process analysis using simulation programs to optimize performance.

The ideal candidate is required to have the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or Mineral Processing Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work in all sections of a Mineral Processing Plant.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Effective teamwork and analytical thinking abilities.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Preferably experienced with process simulation programs.
• Willing to reside in Çayeli or Rize.
