YILPORT Holding Inc. the first terminal and port operator holding company in Turkey. Today, YILPORT Holding operates 22 marine ports and 5 land terminals across 12 countries in 6 regions including Turkey, Nordic, Iberia, Latin America, Mediterranean, and Africa with a vision to create world-class, multipurpose facilities on an international scale.

Now we are looking for a 'Data Analyst' who would like  to be the part of this great team!

• Graduated from related fields of universities preferably in Maritime Business and Administration or Logistics, Industrial Engineering etc.
• Minimum 4 years of data analysis and reporting experience,
• Written and oral fluency in English is a must,
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.), especially Excel,
• Working knowledge of TOS (preferably Navis), Power BI or other reporting tools,
• Excellent analytical skills, teamwork skills and multi-task orientation,
• A ‘can do’ approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description,
• Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment,
• Have customer, quality, process and result driven approach,
• Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete tasks per deadlines,
• Capability to anticipate problems by recognizing the key issues in problems and creating contingency plans and alternative solutions,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels,
  
  

  JOB DESCRIPTION

  Reporting to Reporting and Analysis Manager of Yılport Holding, Data Analyst will support the transformation of data into information by using various computer programs and support business units in order to increase the business and outcome value by providing statistics, data handling, data analysis, data interpretation and evaluation.

  • Study on process analysis standardizations and reports of Planning, Customer Services and Reporting functions,
  • Process, handle, interpret, analyze and evaluate data and create statistics and share the outcomes with related parties on shared platforms,
  • Prepare reports for the management regarding trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data,
  • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction in order to obtain maximum productivity of terminals via data analysis,
  • Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of recorded and archived data, detect problems with missing and problematic data and communicate with related parties to provide solutions,
  • Develop and maintain databases, data collection systems – reorganize data in a readable format- to optimize statistical efficiency and quality,
  • Process data to eligible information, store and protect data,
  • Conduct consolidated evaluations and provide solutions for standardization.
