Our company is a leading multinational production company in Chemical sector and we are now looking for a Environment, Health and Safety Lead in Global EHS Department

Qualifications:

• University degree in Environmental or Chemical, Safety, Mechanical Engineering or relevant equivalent departments
• Preferably 4-5 years of EHS experience in a chemical Industrial, general manufacture industries, Warehouse, Plant or similar Operations
• Fluent in English and speaking is a must
• Good knowledge of PC and MS Office applications B class Safety Certificate is preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
• Ability to work as a self-motivated team member
• Strong problem solving and result orientation skills
• Resident in Istanbul Anatolia or Izmit
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Having a driver's license and being active driving to visit the regional office and its teams
• Ability travel in Türkiye and abroad countries

Environment, Health and Safety Leader will be responsible for planning, coordination and control of the Environment, Health and Safety Management system in the Gebze manufacture plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Updating and implementing of Health and Safety instructions acc. to global EHS and local regulations
• Identifying training needs for global EHS and local procedures and fulfilling these needs
• Preparing legal declarations and report of global EHS KPI’s
• EHS support for Gebze Plants, supply chain operations employees and activities
• EHS support for EHS Türkiye in the MEAIR Region in Corporate EHS, Implementation of EHS Management system and local regulatory for both Plants, support CAPEX project, follow-up Actions
• Drive Corporate EHS Objectives & Targets implementation
• Drive Corporate EHS programs and risk management, legal EHS permits implementation and monitor program effectiveness
• Monitor EHS Türkiye regulation related activity in all Türkiye and Gebze Plants operations
• Organize safety activities for supply chain team, i.e. customer site safety inspection and
• Prepare-Implement or improvement of EHS Training, Risk assessments, sales training day, SOP (Standard Operation Procedure), Job Safety Analysis, Job Safety Observations
• Lead incident / accident reporting and investigations
• Support to safety culture for Gebze team in Supply Chain operations
• Support to implement and improve Global EHS Management program for Gebze Plant
