At EIGEN, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be eager to advance their engineering expertise, consistently add value to their work, and be available to reside in Ankara.

Job Description:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university,
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant fields,
• Proven experience in mechanical installations, HVAC, and cooling systems,
• Preferably, previous experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar capacity within the construction industry, with a focus on energy-related projects,
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the selection of HVAC equipment (e.g., air handling units, roof top units, exhaust fans, split A/C systems, ducting, dampers, etc.),
• Strong experience in design,
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD,
• Fluent in English,
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams,
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach to work,
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Ankara,
• Hold a valid Class B driving license and be an active user,
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Job Description:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Design HVAC systems, support material selection, and track progress.
• Develop the design basis for HVAC systems, including material requisitions, technical specifications, and datasheets for HVAC equipment.
• Ensure adherence to suppliers' technical proposals, and prepare technical bid evaluation documents based on proposals and project requirements.
• Prepare HVAC Material Take-Offs (MTOs), including HVAC equipment and all associated accessories (e.g., ducts, dampers, etc.).
• Conduct HVAC calculations using software tools such as Carrier HAP and Excel.
• Exchange information with other engineering disciplines and coordinate the review of interdisciplinary documents.
• Serve as the technical interface between the site team and vendors.
