QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our dynamic team at Electrolux Professional in a fast-paced, global environment. As a Foreign Trade and Purchasing Specialist, you will be the central point of contact responsible for managing all supply chain processes from factories to delivery of industrial kitchen, laundry, and beverage finished goods and spares to customers and dealers. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with internal and external customers, suppliers, custom brokers, forwarders, warehouses, and various departments across the business unit.

You will drive and execute purchasing and foreign trade activities. We seek someone who is cost, time, and quality-driven, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality products for our customers under the best cost and time conditions. An interest in legislative changes in commercial food and laundry equipment, negotiation and pricing, and risk mitigation is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily foreign trade operations in close collaboration with forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and finance,
  • Manage documentation including invoices, pack lists, customs declarations, bill of lading orders, certificate of origin, ATr,
  • Track, order, and report supplier and tax payments,
  • Execute inbound operations within the ERP system, 
  • Issue and book all necessary documents such as invoices, packing lists, credit notes,
  • Book inbound and outbound shipments, while ensuring accurate delivery reporting, 
  • Manage returns to the country of origin and returns from customers, follow-up transport damages with the service team, forwarders, and insurance companies, keep track of service warehouse,
  • Track regulation changes and implement best practices, informing necessary departments of changes,
  • Manage TAREKS/TSE processes, including control of CE declarations, test reports, HS codes,
  • Negotiate agreements with forwarders, bonded and free warehouses, and customs brokers, researching new logistics partners,
  • Maintain accurate records of logistics costs, contracts, and ERP updates, 
  • Manage loadings from suppliers and Electrolux factories, defining loading lists,
  • Report daily on shipment and foreign trade status, weekly on stocks and orders, monthly on financial needs, 
  • Plan dedicated truck routes and coordinate deliveries, ensuring proper vehicle requests for customer shipments,
  • Evaluate new product launches for import, working with customs brokers and sales teams on pricing, 
  • Process returns and cancellations, update HS codes as needed, and input logistics data into ERP,
  • Manage international purchasing operations and create purchase orders, ensuring deadlines and profitability expectations are met,
  • Develop supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and monitor performance,
  • Confirm delivery dates and address any order status changes proactively,
  • Process supplier invoices for timely accounting handover and update price lists for the sales team,
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and resolve complaints effectively, develop strategic logistic plans, and ensure KPIs are being met,
  • Participate in digitalization projects and identify upcoming needs and opportunities,
  • Analysis and identification of upcoming needs and opportunities,
  • Handle daily operational issues promptly while upholding Electrolux Professional values.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in foreign trade, and purchasing, preferably in a multinational environment within the sector. Experience in adjacent disciplines is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience with ERP systems.
  • Intermediate in English (B1/B2 level).
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office 365 and ERP systems, e-invoice systems, with strong Excel proficiency.
  • Driver’s license (B) and customs broker's certificate (A) are a plus.
  • Efficient time management and strong organizational skills.
  • Good command of import/export operations and customs regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels; able to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve analytical problems.
  • Experienced in negotiation and decision-making.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable to ambiguous situations with a solution-focused mindset.
  • Confident, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects running concurrently from different perspectives.
