Field Service Technician

Qualifications Required:

• Must have a minimum of a technical school degree (associate’s degree or higher preferred) in electrical field or equivalent industrial or engineering field.
• Must be fluent in English verbal and written communication.
• Must have minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision to perform a variety of electrical and mechanical tasks associated with maintenance of custom equipment.
• Must be capable of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. Computer, I/O systems and/or PLC experience is a plus.
• Must have basic computer skills and familiarity with basic computer software (including MS office).
• Must have good interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment.
• Must be willing to travel for extended periods.

Primary Duties include:

• Performing system installation and maintenance activities.
• Performing various mechanical and electrical tasks using a variety of electrical, mechanical hand tools, diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Performing troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues including but not limited to; pneumatic, vacuum, piping and control sub-systems (including computer, PLC, and I/O subsystems).
• Maintaining complex mechanical and electrical sub-systems and assemblies.
• Keeping records of testing, preventive and corrective maintenance actions performed.
• Providing status and other reports as required.
