Our client produces jersey wear for international fashion brands in textile sector since 1988. Its headquarter and production facility is located in Istanbul with more than 500 employees. With their vertically-integrated production facility (from fabric to garment production) they provide solutions for the production needs of men’s & women’s clothing brands. Their top-of-the-line technology is used to produce high quality garments on-time in a wide range of fabrics, designs and production techniques. We are looking for high caliber professional as “MERCHANDISER” candidates for our client whose qualifications are mentioned below.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or related fields
• Fluency in English. A second foreign language as Italian will be a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in circular knitting product management of relevant manufacturers or sourcing offices.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications and able to use ERP applications.
• Strong insight capability for identifying promising products.
• Have new product development skills.
• Passionate about fashion and following trends closely.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage all merchandise/product development matters and communication across multiple brands with strong accountability
• Monitor end to end process from development to production and shipping to customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate the daily functioning of the merchandising department, especially able to turnaround trial orders with proactive approach
• Familiar with jersey product, fabrics, accessories, understanding of standards, requirements and processes.
• Work closely with customers to ensure a seamless organization of sketch and swatch, collection sampling, costing, order placement, fitting and on time delivery
• Proactively resolving challenges faced within timelines
• Collaborating with the company design, technical, production, logistics departments to ensure process is running smoothly
• Ensure products meet Brand standards and company guidelines
