We are looking for a talented and accomplished English speaking Financial Controller!

As a Financial Controller, your daily responsibilities will include:

• The financial controller is responsible for the accounting and tax scope of his /her designated entity - within the particular country/region.
• Responsible for the accuracy of monthly reporting, all legal requirements for accounts, treasury forecasting and filing of tax returns, the financial controller manages, organizes, and controls the entire stat and group financial reporting activity.
• Ensures that periodic (month-end, year-end and all other accounts) reports - as due, are submitted on time and are accurate and ensures that the balance sheet is fully accurate.
• Reviews, approves and justifies reconciliations of accounts (as well as individual invoices and/or eligible accounting/tax documents) in local systems as required by the global finance department; while also ensuring all relevant sets of books due for support by the organization are timely, accurately, and completely kept in order.
• Works with external and internal auditors.
• Manages cash inflows on a regular basis, monitors daily bank account balances and oversees monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensures that documentation of controls and processes is maintained and monitored.
• Manages all accounting tasks, including processing and reconciling of entries.
• Ensures compliance with local/state reporting and tax filing requirements, in addition to all corporate relevant deliverables - all per applicable calendar.
• Understands complex accounting issues and proposes appropriate accounting solutions to improve existing practices.
• Protects against fraud attempts and develops employee awareness of the risk of fraud.

To succeed in the role, you will need to have:

·       English is a must

·       Experience with an ERP is a must - SAP or Oracle are advantageous;

·       Having contributed to external audits is a must,

·       Having lead engagements is very nice to have;

·       Having worked in an international organization is a must - with a few sets of books - nice to have;

·       Having experience with VAT and CIT filings is a must –

·       Having prepared end-to-end diaries and returns... is extremely nice to have;

·       Having had experience processing Payroll is a must,

·       Having served in the payroll department/been responsible for the payroll department is very nice to have
