ABOUT THE POSITION

AKSA Power Generation is looking for a Finance Controller (Supervisor) who has strong experience in that process

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Resident in Istanbul with no obstacle to work at our Kavacık HQ Office.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or related fields,
• Be able to have min 7 years experiences in Finance Controller position
• Min 5 years of experience in Audit companies,
• Knowledge of IFRS and reporting standards,
• Preferably, budget planning and management reporting knowledge,
• Experience in production companies is a plus,
• Experience in consolidation is a plus,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications,
• Strong analytical approach and team player,
• Ability to work up, down, across an organization, process-oriented,
• Excellent communication skills,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRİPTİON

The key duties of the successful candidate are;

• The objective is to guarantee the precision of accounting data entered into financial systems and to furnish financial reporting outputs that align with company policy.
• The consolidation of financial data from business units and external affiliates is achieved through the implementation of periodic target follow-ups.
• Collaborating closely with teams in multiple countries and time zones during the month-end close, forecasting, and budget process in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Prepare quarterly stand-alone and consolidated financial reports and disclosures in accordance with IFRS.
• Provides support in the preparation of Treasury Reports and participates in all audit processes, including the preparation of tax returns.
• Monitors and controls cash flows, credit risk processes, and financial risk processes.
• Coordinates relations with various parties, including external auditors.
• Supports management with P&L-focused projects and contributes to company strategies and business models.
• Manages resources for projects developed to improve external affiliates' workflows.
• Ensures alignment of company accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
