Health , Safety and Environment Specialist

We are looking for a Class B Certified Occupational Health and Safety Specialist with the following qualifications to be employed full-time within our factory located in Kingspan Turkey Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone.

TASKS - Key Responsibilities

• To follow up the legal processes within the scope of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and all relevant regulations for Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone Factory and Istanbul / Ortaköy Head Office,
• To organize Occupational Health and Safety trainings for Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone Factory and Istanbul / Ortaköy Head Office,
• To organize emergency trainings and drills, to follow up the status of emergency teams,
• Organize board meetings and perform necessary follow-ups,
• Follow up on work accident and near-miss incident records,
• Follow up on subcontractor personnel records that will work at the factory site, file them, manage necessary work permits,
• Ensure that work instructions regarding Occupational Health and Safety are communicated to personnel and follow up on them, and keep records,
• Ensure that warning signs are in place at the work site, and update them when necessary,
• Support health tests and workplace physician organizations, when necessary,
• To follow up technical measurements, maintenance, controls and records as required by the legislation,
• To ensure the implementation of decisions taken in board meetings and to follow up their transmission to relevant parties,
• To follow up documentation in accordance with internal audit and ISO 45001 audit systems, to take an active role in audits to be conducted by our foreign subsidiaries,
• To follow up non-conformities, corrective and preventive activities related to all OHS processes and to submit monthly reports,
• To follow up the use of personal protective equipment in the field and to ensure their conformity, to control and keep their stocks up to date, to record them,
• To ensure the coordination of OHS practices between departments,
• To follow up the records and data of all trainings given within the scope of the legislation and to report them regularly,

Requirements

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities with a Class B HSE specialist certificate,
• Knowledgeable about HSE processes and legal regulations, worked in companies with production processes,
• Experienced in presentations, training and exercises,
• Able to use MS Office programs well,
• Solution-oriented, careful, able to take responsibility,
• High analytical thinking skills,
• Very good English - At least B2 level,
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills,
• Able to travel domestically and internationally, when necessary,

• Residing or able to reside in Ceyhan or Adana,
