Forging Engineer (Engineering)

The world's leading wheel manufacturer Maxion Wheels is looking a "Forging Engineer (Engineering)" for Maxion Inci Aluminum Commercial Vehicle Wheels (ATA) plant located in Manisa Industrial Zone.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the forging industry (preferably aluminum forging)  

• Strong knowledge of forged mold and fixture design

• Experience in forging simulation software (Simufact or Deform) and ability to analyze results  

• Proficiency in 3D design software (Catia and/or Siemens NX UG)  

• Understanding of product development processes, including T6 heat treatment and machining  

• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques  

• Familiarity with IATF 16949, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC

• Good level of English  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct risk analysis for molds and products  

• Lead mold and process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and technology  

• Develop and implement design improvements for molds and apparatus  

• Participate in quality control processes and support risk analysis teams  

• Ensure technical documentation is prepared and updated  

• Support the implementation of engineering change requests

• Collaborate with other departments on process improvements and cost reduction initiatives  

• Take part in TPM committees and Six Sigma improvement activities

• Ensure product safety and critical characteristics are properly defined
