Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort, which is known for its wide vision and always open to development; is looking for 'SOMMELIER'' who has the following qualification.

Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort, is looking for “Sommelierwho has the following qualifications.

Features That The Candidate Should Have:

  • Requires a mınımum of C1 level of English and willing to learn or understand basic-technical Turkish language. Knowledge of Russian language is a huge advantage.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings, ideally in a sommelier role.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as the Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET), or similar credentials.
  • Wine Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of wines, including regions, varietals, and production methods.
  • Tasting Skills: Strong ability to evaluate and describe wines, including aromas, flavors, and overall quality.
  • Pairing Expertise: Knowledge of food and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience.
  • Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude to provide personalized recommendations.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate complex information about wine in an engaging and accessible manner.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales abilities to promote wine selections and upsell effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in wine service and inventory management.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage wine inventory, including ordering and storage.

  • Passion for Wine: Genuine enthusiasm for wine and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with kitchen and front-of-house staff to create a cohesive dining experience.
