OKU BODRUM
At OKU, we are committed to sourcing the best of local and international talent to cultivate our reputation for excellence. We are currently looking for aWaiter/Waitress to join our team at our new hotel in Bodrum, Turkey.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a prestigious and rapidly growing hotel & lifestyle brand. The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring high-quality dining experiences, and maintaining the highest hospitality standards.
You will be working from OKU’s newest luxurious location, opening in May 2025 in Bodrum, Turkey. This hands-on role invites the candidate to become part of an award-winning brand recognized for its commitment to quality and excellence.

‘OKU’ is derived from the Japanese spiritual and architectural concept meaning ‘inner space’. OKU Hotels is a boutique collection of soulfully-curated, laidback luxury hotels, created for the modern traveler. Meticulously designed sanctuaries are conceived with barefoot luxury, local connections and slow living at heart.
OKU Hotels is headquartered in London, with current properties operating in Ibiza and Kos, and a confirmed pipeline of hotels set to open in Türkiye, Spain and the Maldives. OKU is targeting to own and/or operate a collection of over ten exquisite properties in new and captivating destinations worldwide, over the next five years.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Greet guests, escort them to their tables, and provide food & wine recommendations.
Deliver prompt, efficient, and friendly service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Take orders and coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely service.
Ensure food presentation, temperature, and portion sizes meet the restaurant’s standards.
Handle electronic POS transactions, ensuring proper check and payment procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of service stations and uphold hygiene standards.
Use guest names whenever possible, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Collaborate effectively with team members, ensuring smooth restaurant operations.
Follow all hotel standards, procedures, and safety regulations.
Adapt to flexible working hours, including night shifts if required.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality, restaurant, or food & beverage service.
Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to hygiene and safety standards.
Fluency in English is required. Other languages are a plus.
TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
Excellence in customer service delivery.
Ability to provide fast and high-quality service.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
Strict adherence to hotel procedures and hygiene regulations.
