Our client is a group of companies operating as an insurance broker and a shipping agency for over 70 years in the global market.

We are looking for an “Accounting & Finance Executive” to join the team in Istanbul office.

Qualifications:

Having a Bachelor’s degree in business-related majors such as Economics or Business Administration

Having at least 4 years of international company experience in accounting, financial control and reporting

Audit experience in one of the Big 4 companies is mandatory

Experience with insurance industry clientele is highly preferred

Experience in group consolidation data is preferred

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is a must and BI Systems knowledge is an asset

Fluency in both written and spoken English

Team-player profile with result oriented, self-motivated and analytical mindset

Valid VISA for EU.

Job Description:

Preparation of P&L, cash flow and balance sheet in compliance with company’s accounting system

Reconciliation of current accounts with domestic and foreign customers and vendors

Tracking, controlling and accounting process of supplier invoices via e-invoice system

Arranging return, price difference, foreign exchange difference, reflection invoices

Entering bank records into the system, making bank reconciliations

Follow-up and reporting of receivables

Personnel expense control and recording

Supporting the preparation of the withholding, reconciliations and the preparation of other declarations

Supporting preparation of annual forecasts and budget

Acting as business partner to other departments on financial issues and decisions

Preparing ad-hoc reports to the top management
