Financial Analyst

Analyst will work with other research analysts and economist to provide coverage of financial sector. Follow applicable industry data and prepare financial models and analyses as well as other ad hoc written reports (in Turkish and English). Develop and maintain relationships with investor relations personnel of relevant companies under his/her coverage.

Candidate responsibilities:

• Conduct research on banks and financial institutions.
• Follow applicable industry data.
• Follow results announcements and maintain up to date financial information for stocks covered.
• Create financial models and undertake company valuations.
• Take active role in client calls, sales events/roadshows and client relationship management.
• Communicate research ideas, equity updates regularly to the firm’s existing and potential foreign institutional clients.

Desired skills and experience:

•  At least 3 years of Turkish equity research experience.
• University graduate degree in business/ finance/ economics/engineering/ mathematics or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance.
• Sound valuation skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• The Capital Markets level 3 License is a must.
• A high degree of self-motivation and sense of responsibility.
• Male candidates should have completed the military obligation.
