Job Title: Foreign Trade Manager

Location: Istanbul/Tuzla

Position Overview: The Foreign Trade Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's international trade operations. This includes developing and implementing strategies to enhance our global market presence, ensuring compliance with trade regulations, fostering strong relationships with international partners and ensure business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support business and production units by contributing with Import & Export activities to enhance operational plans implementation and/or objectives.
• Monitor and inform/update management with changes in global/local customs laws and/or policies that are of significance to the business.
• Management of intercompany sales: creating intercompany orders, coordination with logistics and planning team to meet the customer demand, communication with the customers, keeping the customers informed in case of updates and preparation of the export documentation
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize international shipping and distribution.
• Monitor and assess the performance of foreign trade operations and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, trade organizations, and foreign partners.
• Stay informed about global economic trends and their impact on trade policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in international trade, import/export management, or a similar role, at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in SAP.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English required.
• Strong SAP knowledge required.
