We are looking for a Laboratory Manager to work in our laboratory operating on the Anatolian Side in the field of environmental testing.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that the services provided in laboratories are performed, maintained and continuously monitored in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and their effectiveness is improved,
• To detect the occurrence of deviations from the quality system or procedures related to the services provided in laboratories and to initiate/ensure that necessary corrective-preventive activities are initiated to prevent or minimize such deviations
• To determine the risk factors for the effectiveness of laboratory activities and to organize the process related to risk analyses,
• To create, modify, verify, approve methods and/or to ensure that they are created, modified and verified by authorized personnel
• To ensure that the results are analyzed, including declarations of conformity or opinions and comments in the reports
• To receive and evaluate test requests, to ensure that the measurement program is prepared in accordance with the requests from customers and laboratory working conditions
• To ensure the conformity of technical conditions and personnel qualifications
• To check the prepared test reports and approve them as the “Laboratory Manager”
• To make predictions about the adequacy of personnel and devices in accordance with the current and future business plans and development of the laboratory and to prepare the necessary Taking precautions.
• Ensuring that the job descriptions of employees are made correctly and that they work in line with this,
• Approving contracts made with subcontractor and supplier laboratories

Qualifications We Look For

• Having at least a four-year undergraduate education from universities, graduating from engineering, science, veterinary or aquaculture faculties
• Graduating from departments that qualify to be an occupational safety specialist or occupational physician, and graduating from domestic or foreign educational institutions whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education (within the scope of the authority of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security)
• Having no obstacle to working at heights,
• Preferably competent in measurement, reporting or analysis,
• Preferably having an emission-immission, water and wastewater sampling training certificate
• Having knowledge of ISO 17025 quality system and relevant Ministry regulations,
• Having knowledge of validation and measurement uncertainty calculations and being able to prepare reports,
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar sector,
• Having team management experience,
• Advanced written and verbal English skills,
• Proficient in MS Office programs,
• Able to actively drive (Having a Class B driver's license),
• Having strong verbal and written communication skills,
• Prone to teamwork,
• Ability to travel Flexible, Open to learning and development.
