We are looking for a Senior Project Finance Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in Beykoz, Istanbul.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, structured finance, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with expertise in Excel-based project finance models.
- Understanding of debt financing structures, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Experience working with lenders, multilateral institutions, and legal advisors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CFA, ACA, or other relevant professional certifications.
- Experience in specific sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure and natural resources.
- Familiarity with financial instruments such as bonds, mezzanine finance, and equity investments.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Finance Associate to support the execution of project finance transactions across various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and natural resources. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, experience in structuring and executing debt and equity financing, and a solid understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution & Structuring:
Support the origination, structuring, and execution of project finance transactions. Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze project feasibility, capital structure, and risk-return dynamics. Assist in negotiating financing documentation, including loan agreements, security packages, and intercreditor agreements. Conduct due diligence, coordinating with legal, technical, and market advisors. Assess key risks in project structures and propose mitigants.
Credit & Risk Analysis: Perform financial analysis and risk assessments on potential projects. Prepare investment memos, credit applications, and presentations for internal approval committees. Monitor financial and operational performance of existing transactions.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, including risk, legal, and compliance, to ensure smooth execution of transactions. Engage with external stakeholders, including sponsors, banks, investors, and government entities.
