QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our primary expectations for you in the " Logistics Specialist" position are as follows:

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  •        Bachelor’s degree -preferably- in Logistics, Supply Chain, Foreign Trade related fields
  •        Significant Foreign Trade and Supply Chain experience (more than 4 years) in manufacturing environment, preferably energy, automotive, house-hold sectors.
  •         Familiar with laws, regulations and ISO requirements as they apply to logistics
  •        Strong experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP
  •         Excellent interpersonal skills, complying with verbal, written and presentation skills.
  •        Constructive communication at all levels, internally and externally to the Company.
  •         Strong in analytical, planning & forecasting, and negotiation skills.
  •        Proficiency in English language (spoken & written), others will be an asset. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  •         Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the logistics activities of inbound and outbound material supplies, verifying of all necessary documentation.
  •        Schedule and execute periodic evaluations to ensure vendors (incl. customs brokers and forwarders) are adhering to pricing contracts and agreements (incl. delivery reliability and quality).
  •         Analyze areas of corporate logistics to find out the most cost-effective means or method of transporting supplies.
  •        Monitor the entire process of product movement and track shipments across different channels.
  •         Maintaining and developing reports showing transportation reliability, utilization, and costs.
  •         Support and report inventory activities of respective materials
  •        Keeping up to date on customs procedures, quotas, and tax regulations, and advising the company on these matters 
  •         Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement and sales.
