QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job DescriptionThe Systems Administrator acts as a first support line specialist and contributes to the IT infrastructure improvements.
The Systems Administrator consistently facilitates the timely resolution of alerts, incident tickets and other escalations through troubleshooting methodologies and standard operating procedures while using various technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Resolve user issues (first- and second-line end), escalating to the Senior System Administrator when needed.
• Maintain service logs.
• Support new location installations (software, equipment) when required.
• Support and implement new software and hardware roll-outs.
• Install software for new users
• Administrate Office365 environment.
• Monitor and control basic network troubleshooting.
• Provide software updates and patch management.
• Implement and carry out responsibilities in line with established procedures and standards as detailed in SOPs and other operational documentation.
• Install, test, troubleshoot and maintain global hardware and software.
• Implement and monitor PC standards and procedures.
• Facilitate backup and recovery (services).
• Monitor systems availability and escalate issues to resolve them promptly.
• Identify where improvements, time-saving, and cost-effective changes can be made.
• Contribute to the implementation of Global IT-driven projects.

Requirements
Qualification:
Higher education (bachelor’s degree) in IT, engineering, or economicsExperience
Experience:• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the IT area
• Knowledge and experience in a global, multi-site, multi-cultural organisation
• Experience working in a managed services environment or as part of an IT team in a medium to large business
• Hands-on experience with first-line IT support
Skills, Knowledge, and Special Qualities
• Windows Server 2012-2019 Management (AD, DNS, IIS, RDS)
• Microsoft Office365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams)
• Basic understanding of networking (NAT, TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi)
• Basic understanding of mail protocols (POP3, IMAP, SMTP, etc.)
• Experience with helpdesk system and remote support tools
• Windows-based application rollout and maintenance
• Strong numeracy skills
• Has self–awareness and cares about the impact they may have on others.
• Advanced in the English language, written and verbal (Upper Intermediate level)
• Reliable, punctual, and organised
• Logical and methodical and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to think innovatively to problem-solve
• Determination and commitment to completing each job to the highest standard and on time
• Ability to effectively adapt to change to deliver a quality service
