In Room Dining (IRD) supervisor oversees all in room dining operation to ensure that the service runsmoothly. He / She train and supervise IRD staff, ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations, and resolve guest complaints


Core Activities

  • Assist to Operation Manager and supervise the day-to-day operations,
  • Initiate training for every position to enhance the consistency in service and standards
  • To assist management to achieve departmental goals and total guest satisfaction
  • Provide direction and support to all IRD colleagues at any time, particularly during the operational hours
  • Follow side duty schedule and assure all tasks are always completed in a timely manner
  • Assure the back and front of house areas in the outlet are clean and tidy at all times
  • Constantly identify areas for improvement in service and food and beverage quality
  • Managing IRD staff's work schedules
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other essentials are adequately stocked
  • Reviewing guest surveys to develop and implement ways to improve guest service
  • Resolving guest complaints in a professional manner
  • To conduct and assist staff coaching and disciplinary procedures in accordance with METT Hotel & Beach Resort procedure
  • Coordinate a well communication between store and expiry labels establishing, check the par level daily, purchase if needed end of the shift
  • Ensure to staff fill in the refrigerators by following FIFO standards
  • Supervises on-going training initiatives
  • Uses all available on the job training tools for employees


Competencies

  • At least 3 years experience in a luxury hotel segment, preferably in a resort.
  • Fluency in English and Turkish
  • Guest service oriented, fostering teamwork, and giving feedback
  • Self-motivated, high energy level
  • Multi-tasking, resolving conflict
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary
  • Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
  • Ability to move up to 80kgs. with wheeled assistance

Preferred Candidate

High School(Graduate), Associate Degree(Student), Associate Degree(Graduate), Bachelor’s(Student), Bachelor’s(Graduate)
English(Reading : Advanced, Writing : Advanced, Speaking : Advanced)
