We are seeking a Senior Accounting Specialist to be assigned to the Finance Department of our Türkiye / Ankara Branch.

Task and Responsibility:

- Process accounting transactions accurately, timely in accordance with Turkish GAAP and company accounting policies

- Prepare and review periodic financial statements in accordance with Turkish fiscal procedures and company accounting policies

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and month-end closing activities

- Create, send and follow-up invoices with clients, suppliers and partners

- Answer questions and provide assistance to Headquarters in Italy as needed

- Check and process the personnel expenses into the system

- Carry up monthly foreign exchange difference records, depreciation control

- Deal with supplier statement reconciliations

- Perform VAT, Withholding Tax, Stamp Duty, Corporate Tax, Provisional Corporate Tax and Form BA, BS declarations

- Manage the legal processes that are the responsibility of the department (general assembly registration

- Assist and coordinate with other administrative staff

- Perform any other administrative duties as required by the company management

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g. Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy)

- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance,

- Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures

- Strong experience of working with accountancy software or ERP

- CPA certificate is a must

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Responds promptly to compliance requests by deadlines.

- Developed analytical thinking ability

- Attention to detail

- Ability to adapt new challenges and ideas

- Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize responsibilities

- Good level of verbal and written communication skills in English
