Sales Support Engineer

Teknokon is a group company which has been founded 31 years ago to serve its industrial customers; from engineering, construction, fabrication to service & maintenance.

We are looking for a full-time Sales Support Engineer to take part in our Valves & Gears Unit (VGU).

The location of this position is Kartal/İstanbul.

As a Sales Support Engineer you will be responsible for;

·       Reviewing customer technical and commercial specifications, processing RFQs, following internal guidelines for proposal preparation.

·       Communicating with OEMs for bid requests, collecting price and technical quotations, converting them to Teknokon proposals.

·       Submitting proposals to the customers prepared for valves and gears business unit.

·       Handing over customer purchase orders to relevant internal & external teams.

·       Using CRM for deal and order management activities.

·       Contributing to marketing activities such as exhibitions, conferences, digital marketing, installed base surveys, assessing projects database, etc.

·       Compelling interpersonal skills, team worker.

·       Ability to work in multinational / multi-cultural environment.

·       Experience in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, etc, is an asset.

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Position Requirements

·       University degree in preferably in Engineering or Business disciplines, or similar degrees.

·       Minimum 1 year experience in operational processes.

·       Familiarity to industrial product groups (preferably valve and gear products) and process systems in oil & gas, power and industrial segments.

·       Strong IT & communications skills.

·       Be fluent in English, Russian language skill is a big plus.

·       Compelling interpersonal skills, team worker.

·       Ability to work in multinational / multi-cultural environment.

·       Experience in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, etc, is an asset.

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
