Job Description and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemistry Education (teaching certification required).

· Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.

· Fluent in English.

· A master’s degree or AP Chemistry teaching experience is a plus.

· Strong communication skills and a student-centered approach.

· Open to innovation and professional growth.

· Qualified to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge of chemistry.

· Passionate about using modern teaching methods to develop students' critical and scientific thinking skills.

· Able and willing to contribute to the extracurricular life of the school.

· Innovative in integrating new technology to enhance learning.

· Skilled in collaborative planning to develop interdisciplinary projects.

· Experienced in research-based and project-based instructional practices.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Demonstrates a passion for teaching and genuine care for students.

· Male candidates must have completed military service, if applicable.

Expectations:

· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and standards.

· Conduct and supervise safe, effective laboratory experiments to complement theoretical lessons.

· Assess student performance through exams, projects, and other evaluation methods.

· Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress.

· Use up-to-date teaching tools and technologies to enhance learning.

· Incorporate practical applications to help students connect chemistry concepts to real-world scenarios.

· Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs, including providing support for struggling students and advanced materials for high-performing students.

· Collaborate with other teachers in the science department to ensure consistency across classes and develop interdisciplinary projects.

· Support students in preparing for national and international chemistry competitions.

· Organize activities such as chemistry demonstrations, field trips to laboratories, universities, or industrial facilities.

· Stay current in the field by attending workshops, pursuing certifications, and participating in professional organizations.
