Inventory and Materials Specialist

Viking Services is looking for Inventory and Materials Specialist in Diyarbakır.

Responsibilities:

• Materials & Inventory coordinator will be reporting to inventory manger and he will be responsible for accurate tracking of Inventory as well as E&O stock
• Responsible for the accurate tracking of materials purchased and providing the ETA to the warehouse. Ensure that the correct materials are received for each job.
• Responsible for receiving all materials, secure storage of all materials and accurate issue of materials to departments per work order material requests
• Works closely with warehouse operations and Supply Chain Manager to arrange inventory and match materials to jobs
• Optimize warehouse management including: Identifying and securing special storage needs, reviewing stock-outs and slow moving items, Optimizing stocking levels of faster moving parts and Identifying improvements in existing work processes.
• Ensure proper identification of part and storage location in the field and in the IDEAS inventory management system.
• Coordinate physical stock checks and update IDEAS inventory management system as necessary.
• Tracks performance of materials management (i.e. Repair & Returns, stock-outs and inventory turns).
• Following Viking International Limited’s QHSE policies and procedures in order to create a safe working environment

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years verifiable experience in similar structures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem identification skills
• Technical background in Inventory Management rules
• Excellent communication skills 
• Possess a Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Good in spoken and written English additional languages are preferred computer skills in office software and company proprietary software
