Cost Control Engineer

We are currently looking for personnel to work temporarily for the rehabilitation project of thermal power plant, where we are carrying out O&M activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in industrial or power plant projects.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Project, and cost management tools.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience working on large-scale EPCM and EPC projects is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Develop initial cost estimates for the project, including materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
• Break down costs into detailed categories (e.g., labor, materials, overheads) to provide a clear financial roadmap for the project.
• Continuously monitor actual costs against the approved budget to detect any discrepancies or deviations.
• Regularly update cost forecasts to reflect actual project progress and changes.
• Provide detailed cost status reports to management, indicating the current financial position of the project.
• Ensure that payments to vendors and contractors are made on time while keeping track of the project’s financial position.
• Maintain clear documentation and support payment processes by keeping all cost-related records up to date
• Prepare and process progress payment certifications
