We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialistto be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Materials, Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in procurement, with expertise in contract management, raw material, technical equipment, and service sourcing
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proven track record in supplier management and strategic sourcing
• Strong reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and procurement technologies
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
• Availability for domestic and international travel
• Valid B-class driver’s license

Requirements:

• Develop and execute global procurement strategies to meet business objectives
• Report directly to the Director and provide detailed and accurate reports on procurement activities and strategic initiatives
• Lead high-level negotiations with key suppliers and manage complex contract processes
• Drive cost-saving and optimization initiatives while ensuring high-quality procurement standards
• Manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, technical equipment, and services for operational efficiency
• Oversee service procurement activities, ensuring the selection of qualified and competitive service providers
• Foster innovation by supporting new material and supplier development projects
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market dynamics and industry trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, engineering, quality, and supply chain departments, for problem-solving
• Implement e-sourcing strategies to streamline purchasing operations
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and legal requirements
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with global suppliers and stakeholders
